*Olu of Warri Explores Sierra Leone’s Rich Cultural Heritage During Diplomatic Visit*

His Royal Majesty Ogiame Atuwase III, the Olu of Warri, as part of his diplomatic visit to Sierra Leone and his participation in the 2nd His Excellency Julius Maada Bio Leadership Colloquium, immersed himself in the country’s historic and cultural heritage through visits to the Sierra Leone National Museum, the Peace Museum, and the world-class Leicester Peak Viewing Deck.

The Olu was warmly received by the Minister of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Nabeela Farida Tunis, alongside staff of the Ministry and the Monument and Relics Commission, with captivating cultural performances by the National Dance Troupe.

The tour was led by the Research and Development Officer of the Monument and Relics Commission, Francis Momoh, together with museum staff, who provided insightful narratives on Sierra Leone’s rich history, culture, and heritage.

Visits like these continue to showcase Sierra Leone’s resilience and highlight the rapid growth of the country’s tourism sector, while strengthening cultural ties and inspiring greater interest from African leaders and international visitors alike.
