Minister of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Nabeela Farida Tunis has graced the soft launch of BSK TV Network. The momentous event held at Radisson Blu, Mammy Yoko Hotel gathered media practitioners including TV presenters, and renowned broadcasters, underscoring the significant landmark of the launch of the network.
Dr. Bernadette Sanko Kamara (BSK) TV Network enriches global perspectives on African culture, producing thought-provoking films that contributes to neutral understanding. BSK TV Network is the first Pan-African multifunctioning platform that offers more than one entertainment service from world class movies, TV shows, documentaries and podcast, live radio to live streaming. The Network is on StarTimes channel 200.
In her brief remarks, Minister Tunis commended and congratulated the founder and CEO of the Network, Dr. Bernadette Sanko Kamara for working exceptionally hard to achieve this landmark. She mentioned that the channel provides a platform for young people to harness their talents and assured that the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs stands ready to provide the requisite support to make the station a success. She encouraged the Network to build partnerships with existing TV stations, while encouraging all to support BSK as it promote Sierra Leone beyond what has been done. She explained that the on-going Tourism for All Campaign which is themed each month sought to share knowledge and promote local tourism, hence she encouraged people to support initiatives like BSK’s in order to promote and showcase and unique products that Sierra Leone offers.
