The Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs (MTCA) and its agencies have officially unveiled the logo for the highly anticipated One Nation Reggae Festival, set to take place from 25th–30th November 2025. The unveiling ceremony, symbolized the Ministry’s readiness to host this landmark cultural event under the theme “Shared Roots, Shared Rhythm, One Love, One Vibe.”
In her statement, the Permanent Secretary, Madam Judith C. Jones, described the One Nation Reggae Festival as a beacon of unity, cultural identity, and national pride. She emphasized that the event provides an excellent platform to showcase Sierra Leone’s cultural heritage to a global audience while promoting the nation as a peaceful and attractive tourism destination.




Mohamed Jalloh, Director of Tourism and Exchange Programs, and Foday Jalloh, Director of Culture, Creativity, and Innovation, both highlighted the festival’s uniqueness, underscoring its role in promoting Sierra Leone’s cultural identity while deepening bonds with African nations through shared roots and rhythm




Minister of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Nabeela Farida Tunis, stated that the logo unveiling represents more than a visual introduction, it stands as a symbol of unity, identity, and shared heritage between Africa and the Caribbean. She noted that the festival goes beyond entertainment, serving as a cultural movement that celebrates Sierra Leonean talent in music, dance, art, and cuisine, and as a bridge across generations and continents through reggae’s universal message of peace and freedom.
Mrs. Tunis added that the logo reflects the vibrant and resilient spirit of Africa, positioning Sierra Leone as a hub for global cultural exchange, connection, and investment.
The unveiling of the One Nation Reggae Festival logo marks a significant milestone in advancing Sierra Leone’s cultural diplomacy and strengthening international cultural ties.
