Ahead of the most anticipated One Nation Reggae Festival shchedule for 25th-30 November this year, the logo reveal shows preparedness of the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs and its Agencies to host the auspicious One Nation Reggae Festival themed “Sheared roots, Sheared rhythm, One Love One Vibe”.
The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism Madam Judith C. Jones during her remarks noted that the One Nation Reggae Festival is a symbol of unity, cultural identity and national pride. Adding that it provides the platform to showcase Sierra Leone’s cultural heritage to a wider audience and also elevate the country’s profile as a peaceful destination.
Unveiling the logo, the Hon. Minister of Tourism and Cultural Affairs Hon. Nabeela Farida Tunis said the logo reveal marks more than a visual launch — it symbolizes unity, identity, and shared heritage between Africa and the Caribbean.
She underscored, the festival is a cultural movement that showcases Sierra Leonean talent across music, dance, art, and cuisine, while serving as a bridge across generations and continents through reggae’s universal message of peace and freedom.

The Hon. Minister noted that the logo embodies the vibrant, proud spirit of Africa, and the festival positions Sierra Leone as a welcoming hub for global cultural exchange, connection, and investment.
The Director of Tourism and Exchange Programs, Mohamed Jalloh, and the Director of Culture, Creativity, and Innovation, Foday Jalloh, highlighted the uniqueness of the One Nation Festival, emphasizing its role in not only showcasing Sierra Leone but also connecting us with our African brothers and sisters through shared roots and rhythms.
