National Consultative meeting on the Assessment of 12 Identified Tourism Sites

The Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, it’s Agencies and the World Bank will be hosting a National Consultative meeting on the presentation of assessments of selected touristic sites for Product Development, supported under the Economic Diversification Project. The event is scheduled to take place on Thursday 6th February, at the Miatta Conference Hall at 08:30 am.


Assessments of twelve (12) identified touristic sites have been conducted including, Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary, Leicester Peak, Levuma Beach, Lakka Beach North end, River No.2, York, Bureh Beach, Kent, Banana Island, Tasso Island, Turtle Island, and Bonthe Island.

Stakeholders and community representations of five-member for each site are invited to attend this consultative meeting. Please endeavor to attend as this meeting is critical for the development of touristic sites.
