Miss Salone Board pays Courtesy Call to Tourism Minister

“I’ll make sure the Ministry invites all Ministers so that the masses can follow us on the media”

In a bid to rebrand the Tourism sector in Sierra Leone, the Board members of Miss Salone on the 6th May 2018 paid a courtesy call to the Minister of Tourism and Cultural Affairs (MTCA), Madam Memunatu B. Pratt to introduce their queen Miss Salone 2016, Aminata Adeline Bangura, to her.

In her opening statement, Madam Pratt happily stated that the Ministry can now use this opportunity to embark on the rebranding process of the sector; stressing that with the Ministry starting the messaging early, the image of the country can be changed through beauty pageants to align it with the vision of the New Direction.

Asma James, who led the delegation, said: “we are here to show our queen to you, Madam Minister.”

Also present at the gathering were the CEO of Trans-National Sierra Leone Ltd.(DSTV) who doubles as the Executive Director of “Pekin Biznes”, Adonis Abboud and the Director of Cultural Affairs, Mr. Foday Jalloh.
